The Logan Martin Youth group welcomes you to our official website www.LMYG.org. As our group and site continues to grow we are excited to have you as our visitor. Please use this site to stay up to date with current events, as well as Bible class lessons, a place to ask questions, comments, or leave prayer concerns. Please explore our site, and join us at any time you are able. Also see our notes in "House to House" which are distributed to all Pell City residents once on a bi monthly basis.
Our Mission: The purpose of the Logan Martin Church of Christ Youth Program is to provide a foundation for our youth that will provoke them to study God's word, feel confident to talk to others about the Lord, and also promote their faithful service to the Lord now and carry them throughout their adult lives.
Goals: Help young people come to a better understanding of God's Word. Help our kids build a strong faith.
Expose them to various works of the Church and an extensive knowledge of God's word. Provide an avenue for continued Christian fellowship. Provide an encouragement and venue for them to talk to others about Christ.
Code of Conduct: In an effort to achieve the mission statement, goals and objectives of the Youth Program at Logan Martin Church of Christ, the Eldership and Youth Director have established certain guidelines for acceptable behavior by anyone participating in functions associated with the program. They are as follows:
Reveal God to others. Promote and sustain an attitude of submission to the authority of God and others. Promote and instill self-discipline. Instill the values of Christian character. Provide and maintain a climate that allows the program to function decently and in order.
But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.2 Peter 1:5-7. -----------
