We'll, we made it to Georgia and back. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate all the help and support I get from each and every one of you. I am still shocked to see that we took the second largest group there!!! Just wanted to leave you a note and let you know that you all are wonderful and I appreciate it so much!!!
Hello Parents,
Just wanted to give you some information on the Piedmont Road youth rally. I hope all of you guys will be able to go with us to the yourth rally, and not only your kids, but I also hope they will bring a friend with them. The youth rally will be help on Marth 10th @ the Piedmont Road church of Christ. We will leave on Friday night March 9th so that we do not have to leave so early in the morning on the 10th. We should leave somewhere around 6pm or so and arrive in Marietta around 8:30.
We will be staying at the Days Inn off Barrett Parkway (Exit 269 on I-75), This is the same hotel we stayed in last year. For parents the cost is $35.00 to cover part of the hotel, for kids the cost is $5.00 to cover the charge we will pick up from the Piedmont Road church of Christ. This will include for the youth group a t shirt, notebook, pen, lunch, and hotel cost on Friday night.
Anyone under the age of 18 who goes will need a field trip permission form, they are located on the "activities" page of this website, all that will need to be done is print the form, and leave it with me and the money no later than Feb 25th.
This should be a great youth rally again this year.. Lets make an effort to take the biggest crowd we have ever taken with us!!

Well, there is no mystery to the statement that a great youth group begins how?? Well the obvious answer is with great parents!!! You guys are the heart and soul of our youth group, and nothing would get done if it weren't for the generous support of all of our parents. So, with that being said how fitting that you guys should have your own space on LMYG.org..
I want you to know how much I appreciate the opprotunity to work with your children week in and week out. Our group has come a long way in a short time, and is still improving all the time. I made a committment to myself, our group, and our Elders that our youth group will continue to be a top priority in my life in 2007 with bigger plans, and more ambitious goals, and I have asked our kids to make that same committment that Logan Martin church of Christ will be a priority in 2007. I can only imagine the possibilities that are ahead. Thank each of you for the encouragment you give me every day. And thank you for the support you give the Logan Martin youth group.
Why your own space you might ask? Well I believe that you guys need to be aware of what we are doing as a group, and how you can help. Kids love to see involved parents. It makes them get excited about what they are doing. And we are so lucky to have each and every parent at Logan Martin deeply involved in the work of our Youth Ministry. There will be articles posted here, and links will be up soon that will give us information on everything from internet saftey to Bible lessons.
LMYG.org is a growing process. So much has already been done, and more is coming. Soon you or your kids will be able to look in the class section of the website, and click on a date to retrieve Bible class outlines. A prayer request page has been added so that anyone and everyone can submit a prayer request and we can make sure to pray for those folks we have recieved request for. We owe this all to the efforts of a great web designer with alot of patience!!! I want to encourage you guys to make sure that our kids utilize this site to the fullest of its potential. The site is a great resource for our youth group.
Keep checking back. Soon links will be up on this page with valuable information related to a variety of topics. If you have suggestions for things to be put on this page please email me, or let me know and I will put it up ASAP.
Please remember we are planning a trip to Ga on 03/09 and 03/10. The cost of the trip is still being calculated, but will be kept to a minimum. However exceptions will be made if the cost is a burden. We want everyone to attend this great youth rally..
